How to create and retrieve the seasonal promotions.

You have to choose SEASONAL PROMOTIONS button to go to promotion creation page.

Create Promotion

First of all you have to choose the level at which you have to add promotion to viz. account or campaign or ad group.

• If you choose account level then its all there, you will not get choose campaign or ad group option obviously.

• If you choose campaign level then you will get to choose campaign from the drop down.

  • You can choose single campaign.

  • You can choose multiple campaigns.

• If you choose ad group level then first you have to choose campaign and then ad group under that campaign.

🖊️ Quick Note: If you are trying to choose multiple campaigns for ad group level promotion, you will get automatically switched to campaign level as we do not provide multiple campaign with multiple ad group option yet.

Once you done with level and all other details, Enter Occasion, Language & Currency from the drop down as per your requirement.

Enter Occasion title in the respective field.

Select the Promotion Details from the drop down.

• If you select on orders above option from drop down, you have to enter desired amount in your selected currency.

• If you select Promo code option from drop down, you have to enter desired promo code there.

Select the Promotion Type from the drop down.

• If you select monetary discount or up to monetary discount, you have to enter the amount in your selected currency.

• If you select percent discount or up to percent discount, you have to enter the percentage in the input field as per your offering.

✨ Healthy Reminder: Until you choose the currency from the drop down, you will not get the currency symbol in Promotion type's or Promotion Detail's input field.

Enter the URL of the page or section for which you want to create promotions in Final URL box.

Enter desired Start Date and End Date for time period you want to show your promotion on.

✨ Healthy reminder: If you do not want to show the offer on promotion then select Hide Dates checkbox otherwise keep it deselected.

After all the above process you will get to see following preview at same time as_

Just click Create button, promotion will get created and you will get a success notification or if there is some error then you will get error notification respectively.

Retrieve Promotion

You have two options in Retrieve Promotions's tab.

• Fetch all promotions from the account at all levels viz. account level or campaign level or ad group level.

• Fetch specific promotions depending on the selected values from drop down.

If you want to fetch all promotions click on the button Fetch all promotions from the account

🔓 Until you select any campaign, Fetch specific promotion button will be disabled and will not be clickable.

If you want to see only any campaign or ad group specific promotions.

• Select Campaign Name from drop down menu.

Note that for retrieve purpose multi select option is not available. So you have to choose only one campaign at a time.

• As soon as you select any campaign, Show adgroup specific promotion button will be clickable.

• If you want to see campaign level along with ad group level promotions under selected campaign, just do not go for Show adgroup specific promotion. Just you have select campaign and click Fetch specific promotion button.

🔓 Until if you ✔️ on Show ad group specific promotion button, then Fetch all promotions from the account button will be disabled and will not be clickable.

• If you want to see only ad group level promotion under some campaign and ad group, select Ad group Name from drop down after selecting Campaign Name. After selecting just click Fetch specific promotions button to see the promotions.

You get options to Stop seasonal promotions.

• Stop Promotion - If you click stop button, the scheduled promotion will be removed or ongoing promotion will be removed immediately.

🖊️ Quick note - When you stop seasonal promotion, the tool will go through the account OR campaign OR ad group and will remove only selected promotion not all other seasonal or non-seasonal promotions.

After successful removal of promotion, that promotion will be vanished from the table and from google ads also. 😉
