How to create and retrieve the seasonal sitelinks.

You have to choose SEASONAL SITELINKS button to go to promotion creation page.

Create Sitelink

Select Campaign Name from drop down on the page.

• Choose single campaign.

• Choose multiple campaigns if want to create multi campaign sitelinks.

Select Ad group Name from drop down (optional).

• If you select one campaign from Campaign Name drop down then only you will get option to select Create adgroup specific sitelinks option clickable.

• Choose single or multiple ad group from Ad group Name drop down.

Note that if you are selecting specific ad group then that sitelink will be created at ad group level or if you do not choose ad group then sitelink will be campaign level.

Enter desired Start Date and End Date for time period you want to show your sitelinks.

Enter Headline in the respective fields according to your sitelink data.

Enter Description 1 and Description 2 in the respective fields according to your sitelink data.

✨ Healthy reminder - Description 2 is optional but surely recommended.

Enter the URL of the page or section for which you want to create sitelinks in Final URL box.

The entered URL will be checked at the same time and if not valid will show the error message as_ OR if valid will not show any error message at all.

After successful filling of data for sitelink, just click on Submit button. It will create the respective sitelink for respective ad groups OR campaigns.

You will get the success message for successful creation of sitelink or in case of failure you will get failure message respectively.

Retrieve Sitelink

You have two options in Retrieve Sitelink's tab.

• Fetch all sitelinks from the account at all levels viz. campaign level or ad group level.

• Fetch specific sitelinks depending on the selected values from drop down.

If you want to fetch all sitelinks click on the button Fetch all sitelinks from the account

🔓 Until you select any campaign, Fetch specific sitelink button will be disabled and will not be clickable.

If you want to see only any campaign or ad group specific sitelinks.

• Select Campaign Name from drop down menu.

Note that for retrieve purpose multi select option is not available. So you have to choose only one campaign at a time.

• As soon as you select any campaign, Show adgroup specific sitelink button will be clickable.

• If you want to see campaign level along with ad group level sitelinks under selected campaign, just do not go for Show adgroup specific sitelink. Just you have select campaign and click Fetch specific sitelink button.

🔓 Until if you ✔️ on Show ad group specific sitelink button, then Fetch all sitelinks from the account button will be disabled and will not be clickable.

• If you want to see only ad group level sitelink under some campaign and ad group, select Ad group Name from drop down after selecting Campaign Name. After selecting just click Fetch specific sitelinks button to see the sitelinks.

• Following are examples of view of retrieved sitelinks as_

You get options to Stop or Update seasonal sitelinks.

• Stop sitelink - If you click stop button, the scheduled sitelink will be removed or ongoing sitelink will be removed immediately.

🖊️ Quick note - When you stop seasonal sitelink, the tool will go through the campaign or ad group and will remove only selected sitelink not all other seasonal or non-seasonal sitelinks.

• Update sitelink - If you want to modify some fields in ongoing or future scheduled sitelink, you can click on update button.

  • You can also extend the End date of that seasonal sitelink.

  • You can change URL appropriately as well.

  • You can change sitelink details a well.

• When you click on Update button, it will go to Create Sitelinkstab will all the fields populated according to sitelink where you have clicked update.

  • You have to change the things which you want to change and then click update. It will get update and Successful or Failed notification will be shown on the page.

• You also have Cancel button if at any point you want to go back while updating sitelink.

After successful removal of sitelink, that sitelink will be vanished from the table and from google ads also. 😉
